Mission Statement

NCB-AALAS is a not-for-profit, volunteer educational association dedicated to the advancement of laboratory animal science through the dissemination of knowledge and promotion of expertise in the responsible care and use of laboratory animals. Our membership consists of more than 600 clinical veterinarians, technicians, technologists, educators, researchers, and administrators in industry and academia. Membership in this association is open to any person interested in the care, production, improvement, and use of research animals for scientific investigation.Our organization provides high quality, affordable educational opportunities, technical training, and resources for career development and professional certification to its members, some of whom might otherwise not have access to these types of learning and networking opportunities.
