Ohio Association of Goodwill Industries, Inc. is made up of 15 independent, not-for-profit organizations that all share the Goodwill name and strive to put people to work. Its purpose includes the improvement and expansion of programs and facilities serving Ohioans with disabilities and other disadvantaging conditions by a) providing mutual consultation and exchange of ideas, b) providing a basis of study and united actions on behalf of people with disabilities and other special needs, c) cooperating with Goodwill Industries International, Inc. and professional associations and agencies related to the advancement of educational and employment services, d) encouraging high standards in all areas of operations, e) creating a favorable climate for placement of people in employment, f) promoting public understanding of and support of education and employment services and Goodwill Industries, g) maintaining a forum where these purposes can be discussed.
