Mission Statement

The corporation, the Oregon Military Museum Project (OMMP), is organized to carry out the following activities and mission: (1) to complete the construction and exhibits, and prepare future operations of Oregon Military Museum (hereinafter the OMM); including with cooperation from the Oregon Military Department and private donors; and (2) to build and nurture essential relationships with business leaders, community leaders, companies, and corporations in the Pacific Northwest and the wider region to raise funds necessary to complete construction of the OMM. The secondary objective of OMMP is to formulate a long-term plan to sustain the OMMs future operations, in coordination with the Oregon Military Department and the OMM itself. The organization expects to accomplish this mission through the service of volunteers; solicitation, use and administering of gifts, grants, bequests, contributions, and devises for the foregoing purposes; and, engagement in any and all lawful activities incid
