TO MAXIMIZE THE VALUE OF CONFERENCE AFFILIATION FOR ALL MEMBER INSTITUTIONS IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH THE CONFERENCE'S VALUES WHILE MAINTAINING A POSITION OF NATIONAL LEADERSHIP IN THE CONDUCT OF INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS.
