Mission Statement

The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as amended or such corresponding sections of any future federal tax code the Code and to foster local national or international amateur rowing competition within the meaning of Sections 501c3 and 501G of the Code including for all such purposes making distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501c3 of the Code. To the extent consistent with the preceding sentence and permissible under Florida law the purposes of this Corporation shall include but shall not be limited to the following purposes: i supporting and developing amateur athletes for local national or international rowing and other paddling water and related amateur sports competition; ii fostering amateur rowing through education and instruction; iii implementing effective educational programs sports
