Mission Statement

Founded in 2010, Pauperism Project, Inc. has extended its services to hundreds of men, women and children whom are in need due to homelessness within the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area. Pauperism Project, Inc. provides food, clothing, toiletries, blankets and counsel to the homeless community. As a commitment to our mission, our services are guided by spiritual principles, reminding those on the fringe of society, that there is a God who loves them unconditionally. Our strategic partnerships with local businesses, sponsors and shelters have allowed Pauperism Project, Inc. to be the recipient of basic necessity items which are distributed to the homeless through quarterly outreach events in Franklin Square Park. Our keystone program, Bibles and Blankets has provided warmth and a pathway to a loving God, to over 1,000 members of the homeless population within the DMV area.
