INCORPORATED IN 1945, THE PENNSYLVANIA BUILDERS ASSOCIATION IS A NONPROFIT PROFESSIONAL TRADE ORGANIZATION REPRESENTING APPROXIMATELY 4,066 MEMBERS FROM ACROSS THE COMMONWEALTH. PBA MEMBERS INCLUDE CONTRACTORS, BUILDERS, AND REMODELERS, SUBCONTRACTORS, CONSULTANTS, LENDING INSTITUTIONS, UTILITIES AND OTHERS INVOLVED IN THE HOUSING INDUSTRY. PBA SERVES ITS MEMBERSHIP BY PROVIDING PROACTIVE LEADERSHIP ON STATE REGULATORY AND LEGISLATIVE ISSUES AND BY OFFERING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES TO ITS 29 LOCAL ASSOCIATIONS AND CHAPTERS THAT ENHANCE THE EFFECTIVENESS AND PROFESSIONALISM OF ITS MEMBERS. THE MISSION REMAINS CENTERED AROUND 3 MAIN SERVICE AREAS: GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS INITIATIVES TO PROTECT AND GROW THE INDUSTRY, CONTINUING EDUCATION OF OUR MEMBERS, AND TIMELY & ACCURATE COMMUNICATIONS TO MEMBERS ACROSS THE STATE TO KEEP THEM FULLY INFORMED ON PBA ACTIVITIES AND INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENTS. PBA SERVES PA COMMUNITIES AND CONSUMERS THROUGH ITS STEADFAST EFFORTS.
