Mission Statement

PEDC seeks to eliminate the demographic mismatch between educators and learners of color. Using a collective impact strategy, we convene and collaborate with invested partners around shared goals and systems of accountability, engage in advocacy work, and increase the number of ethnically, racially, and linguistically diverse, culturally relevant, and sustaining educators and education systems in Pennsylvania.
