PROVIDES HOUSING FOR ELDERLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED INDIVIDUALS IN ADAMS COUNTY. THE CORPORATION OPERATES FIVE HOUSING PROJECTS, TWO BUILT UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE RURAL DEVELOPMENT (RD) PROGRAM, ONE BUILT UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT'S (HUD) ELDERLY HOUSING PROGRAM, ONE FINANCED BY THE FEDERAL HOME LOAN BANK AND ONE BY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM LOW INTEREST LOAN. IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING HOUSING, THE CORPORATION OFFERS FINANCIAL COUNSELING SERVICES AND LOW INTEREST HOME IMPROVEMENT LOANS TO QUALIFYING PARTICIPANTS IN ADAMS COUNTY.
