TO BREAK THE GENERATIONAL CYCLE OF POVERTY IN THE LIVES OF LOCAL RESIDENTS BY PROVIDING THEM WITH THE NECESARY TOOLS THEY NEED TO ABANDON GANGS, DRUGS, WELFARE DEPENDENCY AND CRIME AND TO CREATE NEW, STABLE, SELF- SUSTAINING LIVES FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILIES.
