WE MARKET PHILADELPHIA AS A TOP U.S. DESTINATION FOR MEETINGS, CONVENTIONS, SPORTING EVENTS AND OVERSEAS TOURISM. IN FISCAL YEAR 2024, THE PHLCVB ACHIEVED SIGNIFICANT MILESTONES, HIGHLIGHTED BY LAUNCHING ITS FIRST JOINT MARKETING CAMPAIGN WITH VISIT PHILADELPHIA, "COME FOR PHILADELPHIA. STAY FOR PHILLY." THE PHLCVB HOSTED 264 EVENTS IN TOTAL, INCLUDING 20 CITYWIDE EVENTS (THOSE WITH OVER 2,000 ROOM NIGHTS ON PEAK) THAT BOOSTED THE LOCAL ECONOMY.
