Mission Statement

The Res is a 23-acre youth camp and nature center located on the east side of Mishawaka, Indiana. Surrounded by urban uses, the heavily wooded grounds are habitat to a wide variety of birds, animals, and wild flowers. Originally founded in 1920 as a Boy Scout Reservation, "The Res" is now owned by the non-profit organization. Our meadow, lodges, and cabins are available to rent for events, including field trips, weddings, church services and retreats, graduation parties, reunions, baby showers, family holidays, youth camping programs, and more. Overnight cabin and tent stays are for youth groups and member families only. Our trails are open to the public, unless the property is closed for an event.
