Assists in preserving and interpreting the nationally registered or eligible 366 historic structures , landscapes, features and rich heritage of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Includes all areas -Glen Haven, Port Oneida Rural Historic District, Good Harbor, Platte River District, North and South Manitou Islands. An official partner philanthropic group of Sleeping Bear Dunes since 1999. Seeks and secures funds to support and facilitate preservation projects and adaptive-use. Builds awareness of the historic collection and need for preservation and offers educational interpretive activities, publications, experiences and exhibits.
