Mission Statement
In 2023, we significantly enhanced its community engagement efforts, deepening meaningful connections with senior adults within our community. We expanded our initiatives to enrich the lives of seniors and combat loneliness and social isolation effectively. Additionally, we achieved a milestone by conducting 1027 home and nursing home visits, providing consistent and compassionate companionship that greatly reduced feelings of isolation among seniors. Also, our Caring Connections Card Program was a resounding success; over 1877 personalized, handwritten cards that boosted the spirits of lonely seniors and fostered a strong sense of belonging, as evidenced by the heartfelt feedback from recipients. We grew our volunteer base by engaging over 150 new volunteers who collectively donated 2100+ hours, enhancing our program delivery, and extending our reach. These efforts underscore our commitment to improving the social well-being of seniors through sustained and effective community support
