To make every childs potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. All budget requests at Douglas L Jamerson Jr Elementary must also align with the schools annual objectives: * Increase ELA scores to 62% of students reaching proficiency levels Increase Mathematics scores to 62% of students reaching proficiency levels increase science scores to 62% of students reaching proficiency levels eliminate the racial achievement gap in ELA mathematics science between black & non-black students increasing proficiency scores for each subgroup equal to all students showing proficiency. School-related event that will bring community members business partners to the school. School-related event that will bring families to the school thus actively engage families in their childs education furthering a positive home-school connection.
