Mission Statement
Rebuilding Together Houston is the only organization in Houston and Harris County providing free home repairs to hundreds of families each year. We employ licensed contractors to restore homes to safe, livable conditions, extending each home's life by 20 years or more and protecting families from hazards like leaking roofs, collapsing floors, dangerous electrical systems, no hot water, and lack of heating, or air conditioning. For the cost of building one brand new home, Rebuilding Together Houston can repair up to 12. Over the past 43 years, we have served more than 15,000 neighbors at no cost. Our work enhances the safety and structural integrity of homes passed down through generations, helping preserve Houston's neighborhood character by keeping families in the communities they helped to build.
