THE COUNCIL INCREASES PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE VALDEZ MARINE TERMINAL'S OIL SPILL RESPONSE, SPILL PREVENTION, AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION CAPABILITIES, AS WELL AS THE ACTUAL AND POTENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS OF TERMINAL AND TANKER OPERATIONS.
