Mission Statement

RCND exists to empower neighbors alongside neighbors most-impacted by Durham's community violence and criminal legal system, in pursuit of a community that names, owns, and transforms the harm we do to one another. Each year, we unite over 500 diverse individuals in community-sourced practices of restorative justice, reentry support, and survivor care.
