RPC IS FOCUSED ON CONDUCTING RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AND COMMUNICATION ON ISSUES OF HOMELESSNESS, PUBLIC IMAGE, CRIME AND SAFETY, AND ECONOMY AND HOUSING. RPC DOES MUCH OF ITS WORK BY OPERATING 4 ISSUE BASED COMMITTEES. THESE COMMITTEES CONDUCT FORMAL AND INFORMAL RESEARCH ON MATTERS RELATED TO THESE ISSUES AND REGULARLY IDENTIFY, COLLATE, AND PRESENT INFORMATION TO OTHER COMMITTEES, OUR MEMBERS, THE GREATER PORTLAND COMMUNITY, AND POLICY MAKERS IN ORDER TO HELP INFORM THE DEBATE AND DECISION MAKING ON CRITICAL ISSUES FACING PORTLAND.
