Roads to Recovery work personally with behavioral health citizens to help transition their members from state hospitals back into the community which they reside in. Roads to Recovery offers two different types of services including Consumer Family Satisfaction Team (CFST) and Certified Peered Services (CPS). The CPS service is only available in Clarion, but you can contact the Clearfield office for more information. Both of these services are unique to the business because the peers are community members who are on their way to recovery. They act as a mentor to those in need of this service and are able to become someone the patients can confide in throughout their recovery.The mission of Roads to Recovery Certified Peer Specialist Program is to offer support for other peers in recovery. Behavioral health consumers serve as role models in promoting activities designed to encourage community intergration for individuals with severe and persistent behavioral illness.
