THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE A QUALIFIED CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUAL ROTARY CLUBS OF DISTRICT 5240, MANAGE THE FUNDS FOR THE DISTRICT 5240 TRAVEL GRANTS PROGRAM, THE ROTARACT MATCHING GRANT PROGRAMS AND OTHER PROGRAM OF THE DISTRICT. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, EDUCATION, SCHOLARSHIP, COMMUNITY EVENTS, PARKS AND RECREATION EVENTS, YOUTH PROGRAMS, SENIOR CITIZEN PROGRAMS, PROGRAMS FOR MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE AND OTHER HEALTH AND HUMANITARIAN NEEDS. THIS FOUNDATION SUPPORTS THE MISSION OF THE ROTARY FOUNDATION: THE MISSION OF THE ROTARY FOUNDATION IS TO ENABLE ROTARIANS TO ADVANCE WORLD UNDERSTANDING, GOODWILL AND PEACE THROUGH THE IMPROVEMENT OF HEALTH, THE SUPPORT OF EDUCATION AND THE ALLEVIATION OF POVERTY. THE ROTARY FOUNDATION IS A CHARITABLE, NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION THAT IS SUPPORTED SOLELY BY VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS FROM ROTARIANS AND FRIENDS OF THE FOUNDATION WHO SHARE ITS VISION OF A BETTER WORLD.
