THE SAINT FRANCIS MEDICAL CENTER FOUNDATION IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF SAINT FRANCIS HEALTHCARE SYSTEM AND SAINT FRANCIS MEDICAL CENTER. ITS PURPOSE IS TO ACQUIRE THE RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE MEDICAL CENTER TO FULFILL ITS GOALS AND OBJECTIVES. THESE GOALS INCLUDE TAKING A LEADERSHIP POSITION IN PROVIDING HIGH QUALITY, COST-EFFECTIVE ACUTE CARE AND OUTPATIENT SERVICES TO THE PEOPLE OF THIS AREA. THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION WILL REFELECT THE MEDICAL CENTER'S PRIORITIES. IT WILL STRIVE TO INCREASE AWARENESS, UNDERSTANDING AND ACCEPTANCE AMONG THE FACILITY'S MANY PUBLICS. ALL FUNDRAISING EFFORTS WILL BE AIMED AT STRENGTHENING THE INSTITUTION OVERALL AND REAFFIRMING ITS MISSION TO ITS FULLEST POTENTIAL. THE FOUNDATION WILL SECURE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR CURRENT OPERATIONS, SPECIAL PROJECTS, CAPITAL EXPANSION, LONG-TERM FINANCIAL STABILITY AND OTHER NEEDS AS IDENTIFIED BY THE MEDICAL CENTER.
