Mission Statement

Our organization trains volunteers to work in partnership with the USFS to maintain forest and wilderness areas for recreation by the public. We educate the public to use the areas in accordance to the Wilderness Act of 1964, that is in keeping the wilderness in it's natural state, without evidence of man's presence. We perform trail maintenance, removing downed trees to keep the existing trails safe for public use. Volunteers are trained in safely use of tools, radio use, and public contact.
