THE MISSION OF THE SANTA BARBARA MUSIC CLUB IS TO INCREASE THE LOVE AND KNOWLEDGE OF MUSIC IN ALL OF ITS PHASES AND TO STIMULATE INTEREST OF MUSIC IN OUR COMMUNITY. THE CLUB IS TO AID AND ENCOURAGE MUSICAL EDUCATION BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS AND PROMOTING AMERICAN MUSIC AND ARTISTS. THE CLUB HAS ITS OPEN MEETINGS AND PRESENTS MUSICAL PROGRAMS BEFORE ITS MEMBERSHIP AND THE COMMUNITY. PROGRAMS ARE ALSO PRESENTED AT LOCAL RETIREMENT HOMES.
