Mission Statement

The Sauvie Island Center seeks to equitably educate learners of all ages about food, farming and the land. Our place-based, hands-on educational programs, which include summer camps, farm field trips, school visits and community farm days, celebrate the connections between the food we eat, farms and the environment.
