THE MISSION AND PURPOSE OF SEF IS TO BENEFIT THE TOWN OF SCITUATE PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND ITS COMMUNITY BY FUNDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS WITH THE SUPPORT OF A DIVERSE GROUP OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS. THE MISSION WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED BY GENERATING AND DISTRIBUTING FINANCIAL AND OTHER RESOURCES TO THE SCITUATE PUBLIC SCHOOLS AS WELL AS QUALIFIED, SCITUATE-BASED NON-PROFIT GROUPS, TO ASSIST, DEVELOP, AND SUPPORT THE SCITUATE PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND ITS COMMUNITY; AND TO HELP BETTER THE STAFF, FAMILIES, STUDENTS, AND TEACHERS. BY ENGAGING IN ANY OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT ARE PERMISSIBLE UNDER MASSACHUSETTS'S LAW AS TO NONPROFIT, CHARITABLE CORPORATIONS.
