Mission Statement
Originally established to operate in support of Genesee Valley Presbyterian Nursing Center (GVPNC) dba Kirkhaven. During 2023, GVPNC entered into a change in ownership with an unrelated party, the terms of which exclude the assets and liabilities of the Foundation. In September 2024 the Foundation was approved by the NYS AG and Public Health and Health Planning Council to amend the purpose of the Foundation to broaden its support to organizations serving seniors within the Greater Rochester area in furtherance of their corporate purpose. Upon approval of the GVPNC change in ownership by NYS DOH, GVPNC will cease operations. The Foundation's intent is to release the remaining donor restrictions for alternative use in accordance with its new purpose supporting projects related to the field of geriatrics.
