Mission Statement

Love Your Neighbor has provided customized essential furnishings using sustainable design solutions to transitioning families at no cost through our main program the House to Home Initiative. This program accepts donated furnishings from the community such as couches chairs rugs bedding and more to furnish these homes in addition to purchasing new sleeping pillows mattress pads and snap together bedframes. The program provides dignity safety and a calm space where local families and individuals residing in DuPage and Kane County can continue to thrive in their journey to self-sufficiency. We work closely with a network of eight social service providers such as Habitat for Humanity Bridge Communities DuPage Pads and more. Our mission is to come alongside these organizations and serve those who are experiencing homelessness those who have survived domestic violence or human trafficking and who have fled their countries of origin
