Mission Statement

SMACF's mission is to provide funding to the Blount County Animal Center to ensure exceptional medical care and maximize adoptions. We ensure that every healthy and adoptable animal finds a home. That each adoptable animal with a treatable condition receives treatment to restore its health. That every behaviorally sound animal with an untreatable medical condition receives hospice care and that every suffering animal beyond medical help is euthanized humanely.
