SOMC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION ASSISTS SOMC IN PROMOTING THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF THE COMMUNITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OBJECTIVES ESTABLISHED BY THE GOVERNING BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF SOMC. SOMC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION SHALL BE A FUNDRAISING ORGANIZATION AND THE FUNDS RAISED SHALL BE GIVEN EXCLUSIVELY TO SOUTHERN OHIO MEDICAL CENTER. THE SOMC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1954.
