PROVIDING GENERAL RELIEF FOR THE BENEFIT OF PERSONS AND FAMILIES DISPLACED BY HURRICANE'S AND OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS AND THEIR AFTERMATH AND WHO ARE CURRENTLY RESIDING IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS; AND PROVIDING GENERAL RELIEF FOR THE BENEFIT OF ANY PERSONS AND FAMILIES RESIDING, TEMPORARILY OR PERMANENTLY. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION ACTS AS THE LONG TERM RECOVERY GROUP FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS. WITHIN THIS ROLE, THE ORGANIZATION COORDINATES EFFORTS WITHIN JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS AS TO THE WORKINGS AND INTERACTION OF OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE GENERAL RELIEF FOR THE BENEFIT OF ANY PERSONS AND FAMILIES RESIDING TEMPORARILY OR PERMANENTLY IN JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS FOLLOWING A NATURAL DIASTER.
