Mission Statement

The SPACE is a Black-founded and Black-led nonprofit organization that gives underserved communities in Greenbelt, Maryland, access to high-quality art supplies, materials, and lessons to provide skills and exposure to entrepreneurship, career development, and individualized growth. The SPACE serves as a local community art studio to provide gathering spaces and programs where residents can unite to discover themselves and each other through the arts - to heal, share, and question their experiences.
