THE SPRINGFIELD METROPOLITAN BAR FOUNDATION IS A CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO IMPROVING THE LEGAL PROFESSION AND BETTERING THE COMMUNITY THROUGH SERVICE, EDUCATION AND VOLUNTEERISM. THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE FOUNDATION WAS FORMED IS TO PROTECT CIVIL LIBERTIES, TO ENHANCE PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING AND RESPECT FOR THE RULE OF LAW, TO PROVIDE PUBLIC SERVICE, AND TO PROVIDE EQUAL ACCESS TO THE LEGAL SYSTEM.
