Mission Statement

To promote the theater arts in the greater Cedar Rapids Iowa area. This encompasses supporting local theater groups and organizations promoting theater in the community through co-producing and sponsoring theater performances and supporting new and emerging playwrights and actors by sponsoring and producing new productions. SPT does much of its work on a collaborative basis with other theater groups and performing arts organizations.
