SQUANTUM YACHT CLUB PROVIDES ITS MEMBERS WITH BOATING AND YACHT SUPPORT SERVICES. IT ALSO PROMOTES BOAT SAFETY AND SPONSORS BOTH ADULT AND YOUTH BOATING ACTIVITIES. SQUANTUM YACHT CLUB HAS PROMOTED BOATING IN QUINCY BAY AND SURROUNDING WATERS SINCE THE LATE 1800S. THE CLUB HAS 75 REGULAR MEMBERS, 30 LIFE MEMBERS AND 57 SOCIAL MEMBERS. IT RUNS A JUNIOR SAILING PROGRAM FOR BOTH MEMBER AND NON-MEMBER CHILDREN IN THE COMMUNITY (AGES 8-17). THE SQUANTUM YACHT CLUB HAS BEEN HOSTING THE LIPTON CUP REGATTA IN THE MONTH OF JULY FOR OVER 30 YEARS. IT DRAWS BOTH JUNIOR AND ADULT SAILORS FROM ALL OVER NEW ENGLAND.
