Mission Statement

STOP THE BLEEDING FOUNDATION HAS HELPED REDUCE THE NUMBER OF PREVENTABLE TRAUMA DEATHS BY SECURING FUNDS FOR TRAINING LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, FIRE FIGHTERS, EMS PERSONNEL AND CIVILIAN FIRST RESPONDERS ALL OVER NORTHEAST ARKANSAS. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES LIFE-SAVING, FIRST RESPONSE KITS, CALLED AN INDIVIDUAL FIRST-AID KIT (IFAK). CURRENTLY THE FOUNDATION IS CONCENTRATING ON SERVING THE NORTHEAST ARKANSAS TRAUMA ZONE WHICH COVERS 14 NEA COUNTIES. IN 2017, THE FOUNDATION RECEIVIED A LARGE DONATION FROM BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD TO PROVIDE TRAINING COURSES IN TACTICAL EMERGENCY CASUALTY CARE, COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDER, AND K-12 SCHOOL RESPONSE.
