OUR ACTIVITIES DEVELOP THE FOLLWING: CAREER AWARENESS WORK-BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCES SEAMLESS PATHWAYS TO INDUSTRY-RECOGNIZED CREDENTIALS EDUCATION & BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS STEP EXPANDS CAPACITY TO ENGAGE BUSINESSES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PUBLIC- SCHOOL SYSTEMS AND COMMUNITY COLLEGES TO INCREASE CAREER EXPOSURE, EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT, AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL STUDENTS. THROUGH THE HELP OF STEP, THESE PARTNERSHIPS PROVIDE THE AVENUE FOR WORK- BASED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS, AND MEET THE WORKFORCE NEEDS OF BUSINESSES. ADDITIONALLY, STEP IS THE REGION'S BACKBONE ORGANIZATION LEADING THE MYFUTURENC GOAL AS THE LOCAL EDUCATION ATTAINMENT COLLABORATIVE.
