Mission Statement

The mission of the TAK ensemble is to expand and promote contemporary chamber music through the commissioning, performing, recording and promotion of a diverse range of new artistic works. This mission is realized primarily through presenting concerts, open rehearsals, educational workshops, educational outreach, and the publication of recordings of musical works. We believe that publicly sharing collaborations with composers and the process of artistic creation helps to promote appreciation and support for contemporary classical music.
