TO MEET THE SOCIAL AND HEALTH NEEDS OF OLDER ADULTS IN NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA TELESPOND OVERSEES FIVE-PROGRAMS WHICH OFFER OLDER ADULTS VOLUNTEER WORK OPPORTUNITIES, ADULT DAY CARE, AND HOME CARE COORDINATION. ADDITIONALLY, IN 2023 TELESPOND BROKE GROUND ON THE OLDER ADULT ADVOCACY CENTER (OAAC). THE OAAC WILL PROVIDE OLDER ADULTS EXPERIENCING HOUSING INSECURITY DUE TO ABUSE OR NEGLECT A TRANSITIONAL SAFE SPACE THAT WILL SUPPORT HEALING AND STABILIZATION.
