The purpose of this organization shall be the promotion of international competition in cooperation with the United States Olympic Training Center, Colorado Springs, Colorado, through grants to promising competitors of UScitizenship; the development of facilities suitable for training of athletes engaged in international competition; encouragement and promotion of safety in the shooting sports through educational courses of instruction and supervised activities; and to forward the development of those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, and the foundation of true patriotism.
