MORE SPECIFICALLY ITS PURPOSES ARE TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AT TENNESSEE TECH; PROVIDE ADVICE, COUNSEL, AND ASSISTANCE TO THE PRESIDENT ON STRATEGIC ISSUES THAT IMPACT THE DIRECTION AND FUTURE OF THE UNIVERSITY; ENCOURAGE, RECOGNIZE, AND REWARD OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS BY FACULTY, STAFF, STUDENTS, ALUMNI, AND FRIENDS OF TENNESSEE TECH; AND RECEIVE AND ADMINISTER PRIVATE FUNDS WHICH ARE CONTRIBUTED TO TENNESSEE TECH AND IN THOSE CASES WHERE FUNDS ARE GIVEN WITH RESTRICTIONS, TO FOLLOW AND ABIDE BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE RESTRICTIONS.
