This collective provides local singers the opportunity to learn and perform principal roles within the standard operatic repertoire with piano, chamber ensemble, or orchestra. Collective members are able to build their resumes, as well as familiarize themselves with repertoire that will be used throughout their careers. It is our goal to share the beauty and joy of our art form with people of all ages and backgrounds - especially with those who do not live within the city limits of San Antonio or Austin. We seek to make opera both accessible and relatable to our audience members. By offering free admission to our two dress rehearsals to students in our community, over 1600 students are able to experience opera right where they live.
