Mission Statement

The purpose of this club shall be: to stimulate interest in gardening; to operate on a non-profit basis solely for benevolent charitable scientific and educational purposes conducive to the well-being of the community and useful to the public; to aid in the protection and conservation of natural resources; to advance the fine art of gardening landscape design and the study of horticulture and floriculture; to promote youth through the involvement and sponsorship of young gardeners; to promote general civic improvement in the Friendswood community reflecting its heritage; to continue interest in a garden center; and finally to restrict the activities of the organization so that it shall not be used or operated for private profit of any member or special group or be used for any other purposes other than those listed.
