THE TEXAS HABITAT CONSERVATION FOUNDATION WORKS TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION OF TEXAS WILDLIFE AND OTHER NATURAL RESOURCES, INCLUDING POTENTIALLY ENDANGERED SPECIES AND RELATED HABITATS, THROUGH THE RAISING AND DISTRIBUTING OF RESEARCH FUNDS AND THE IMPLEMENTATION AND MONITORING OF COMPLIANCE WITH VOLUNTARY CONSERVATION PLANS. THE PRIMARY GOAL OF THE FOUNDATION TO DATE IS IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TEXAS CONSERVATION PLAN FOR THE DUNES SAGEBRUSH LIZARD.
