Mission Statement

The Balance gives homeless and at-risk youth a chance at a better life. Every day, we refer these young people safe places to sleep, vital therapy and the support they need to heal and grow. We focus specifically on youth struggling with substance abuse, overcoming extreme trauma, living in abusive households and those experiencing homelessness.
