Mission Statement

The mission of The Bookshelf Initiative Inc. is to create positive change in disadvantaged communities by introducing customized academic and extracurricular programs that provide struggling school districts with relevant instructional technology and materials. Our attempts at starting business and making headway failed. We did not conduct business. Our website was live until the dissolution paperwork was filed and accepted. We tried to work with people but everything fell through. We didnt raise funds. All expenses were paid for by Catherine Tomes in order to keep the website and Google Business live. Although we operate virtually we plan to become an information center and hub hosting supportive programs professional development workshops and events. For now we can be found online at www.thebookshelfinitiative.org
