AS THE FISCAL AGENT, NON-PROFIT PARTNER OF BPS, BEDF ENABLES A WIDE RANGE OF PROGRAMS AND SERVICES OPERATED BY BPS SCHOOLS AND DEPARTMENTS. THE MAJORITY OF BEDF FUNDING REVENUES COME FROM LOCAL AND NATIONAL PHILANTHROPY, SUCH AS FOUNDATIONS, CORPORATIONS AND INDIVIDUAL DONORS. THIS FUNDING SUSTAINS AND EXPANDS EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THAT MAY OTHERWISE BE UNAVAILABLE, SUCH AS SCHOOL PROGRAMMING FOR STUDENTS, LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR EDUCATORS, AND ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES FOR FAMILIES.
