Mission Statement

THE FOUNDATION OPERATES A MUSEUM TO PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN A HISTORIC PROPERTY ALONG WITH ORIGINAL FURNISHINGS AND ARTIFACTS. THE MUSEUM IS A SOURCE OF INFORMATION ON LATE 19TH CENTURY LIFE IN ST LOUIS, MISSOURI AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE WESTERN UNITED STATES.
