CATALYST WAS FORMED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. IN FURTHERANCE OF SUCH PURPOSES, CATALYST WORKED TO: (I) FOSTER, SUPPORT PROMOTE, AND CONDUCT ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO PROVIDE AND EXPAND ACCESS TO SAFE, HIGH-QUALITY EDUCATION WORLDWIDE, PARTICULARLY FOR THOSE POPULATIONS OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH AFFECTED BY WAR, CONFLICT, PREJUDICE, POVERTY, OR ISOLATION, AND (II) TO INCREASE GLOBAL UNDERSTANDING OF THE CRITICAL LACK OF EDUCATION FACING SUCH POPULATIONS AROUND THE GLOBE AND TO ADVOCATE FOR SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS THE MYRIAD OF CHALLENGES FACING EDUCATION TODAY. CATALYST SUPPORTED PROJECTS THAT BENEFIT CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD, INCLUDING, TO DATE, PROJECTS IN BANGLADESH, GUINEA, IRAQ, JORDAN, PALESTINE, AND SLOVAKIA, AMONG OTHERS. THE MAJORITY OF CATALYST'S INITIATIVES WERE FOCUSED ON ADDRESSING THE EDUCATIONAL CHALLENGES OF REFUGEES, PARTICULARLY SYRIAN REFUGEES IN THE MIDDLE EAST.
