THE FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED: (A) TO OPERATE EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF EDISON COMMUNITY COLLEGE, PIQUA, OHIO, A PUBLIC INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION, OWNED AND OPERATED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE EDISON STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT, A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE; (B) TO PROMOTE AND RAISE FUNDS FOR THE PROGRAMS, DEPARTMENTS, SERVICES AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS OF EDISON COMMUNITY COLLEGE; (C) TO SOLICIT, RECEIVE, HOLD, ADMINISTER AND APPLY FUNDS OR OTHER PROPERTY, RAISED THROUGH GIFTS, DEVICES, LIFE INCOME CONTRACTS, BEQUESTS, ENDOWMENTS, GRANTS OR OTHERWISE, OR PROCEEDS THEREOF, FOR THE BENEFIT OF EDISON COMMUNITY COLLEGE; AND (D) IN GENERAL, TO DO THROUGH SUCH OTHER NECESSARY AND PROPER MEANS WHAT MAY BE REQUIRED TO EFFECT AND CARRY FORWARD THE AFORESAID PURPOSE.
